RECEIVER solution

The solution to be implemented in each of the receiver sites (Bendigo, Echuca, Mildura and Swan Hill) will consist of a video conferencing cart which can be stationed at the foot of the patient's bed, an electronic tablet for viewing and updating a patient's record and other desktop infrastructure which will enable the scanning into and printing out of the patient record.

Using an electronic tablet to access Cerner clinical applications and the Polycom video conferencing system derived from cameras on the cart, vital signs telemetry, images of patient records, and radiology images are provided to a specialist (either in Bendigo or Melbourne) over a dedicated Telstra (100Mbps) network connection.
