September Project Report
Monday, September 22, 2008
Confidence and enthusiasm from the clinical teams is high and there is a great deal of cooperative behaviour being recognised between sites and providers

In summary the project is on track to deliver the ViTCCU system by mid October in the Bendigo and Alfred sites, and then each subsequent group of sites in two week increments until the end of November 2008.

The Alfred site is still waiting on internal cabling to be completed before Telstra are able to install the equipment.  This should be completed sometime in the next two weeks.

Acceptance testing has been scheduled for the week of the 22nd of September.  The testing will focus on all those components that are proposed for the pilot sites.

User Training for Bendigo and the Alfred has been scheduled for the weeks of the 29th of September and the 6th of October.

Some of the key issues under review at the moment include:

· Delivery of the Virtual Inet component of the solution—waiting on testing

· Delivery of medical monitor viewing platform—waiting on information from vendor

· Delivery of integration for medical monitors and radiology—planning in progress with Cerner

· Inclusion of ARV as a participant in ViTCCU—looking for a funding participant

The project is supported by funding from the Australian Government under the Clever Networks program
